D.PHARMA COURSE
D Pharma is a diploma course. The full form of D.PHARMA is a diploma in pharmacy. It is a short-term two years course for those students who want to start their career in pharmacy. In D.Pharma students learn basic pharmacy education including the application of chemistry in the pharmacy industry, theoretical and practical concepts of biochemistry, pharmacology, and toxicology. This course is about the study of different types of chemical salts, their application, and their uses in medicines. In this course, students will learn about medicines.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR D.PHARMA:
If a candidate desires to get admission to D.Pharma he/she must have to follow the following eligibility criteria:
The candidate will have to give AE CET entrance exam to take admission in D.Pharma. The candidate should be passed 12th class with PCM or PCB group from any recognized university or college with a minimum of 50% marks.
A 10% discount in marks will be given to the SC/ ST/ OBC category.
COURSE DURATION OF D.PHARMA:
Diploma in Pharmacy is a two years short term course. It is divided into 4 semesters. This course has both theoretical and practical sessions.

The fees structure of D.Pharma varies from college to college. It depends on the type of institute, infrastructure, location, faculties, and facilities. The average fees structure of D.Pharma is INR 20 thousand to 1 lakh per annum.
ADMISSION PROCESS OF D.PHARMA:
If a candidate wants to get admission to D.Pharma, he/she must follow the following admission process:
The candidate who desires to get admission will have to give AE CET entrance exam. After qualifying for the entrance exam, they can get admission to one of the topmost pharmacy colleges of India as per their merit of the entrance exam. Colleges will be given according to the ALL INDIA RANK (AIR) of AE CET.
SALARY PACKAGE FOR D.PHARMA :
The salary packages of D.Pharma graduate varies from company to company. It is based on experience and location. A fresher pharmacist starting monthly salary is Rs. 25000 to 30000. An average annual salary will be INR 1 to 4 lakh per annum. Salary increases after the experience.
